  1. Judie Najarian, Vice Chairperson
    Managing Director
    Judie Najarian - an Amador County Upcountry home owner for 8 years is a retired California Interior Designer #3432 having worked in her profession for 30 years. She was a Madera County Deputy Sheriff in the late 70’s. While living in Pebble Beach she served on the board of the Monterey Peninsula Boys and Girls Club and was very involved for 17 years. After the death of her husband she moved to San Luis Obispo and served on Cal Poly’s Continuing Education - Osher Life Long Learning Institute board of directors and also taught several classes in design. She was elected board president of a nonprofit recovery in 2004- 2008 located on a 72 acre working ranch in San Luis Obispo; Sunny Acres Inc. At that time she also served as the secretary for the San Luis Obispo County Meth Task Force and on the county 10 Year Plan to End Homelessness collaborative. She served again as a director of the nonprofit from 2014 to 2017 to help build a new 8,000 sq ft recovery. In 2016 the nonprofit provided over 11,000 bed nights and served over 33,000 meals to recovering addicts with a goal of helping them relearn the work ethic and return to the community substance free and productive. She is a past Treasurer and Secretary of her Upcountry, Amador County neighborhood Inspiration Road Association. Judie has two children and four grandchildren.
  2. Suzanne Brown, Secretary/Treasurer
    Managing Director
    Suzanne has a long background in volunteering and Community Service. In 1991, Suzanne joined the Red Cross and has served in California, Texas, Arizona and even Costa Rica (Cruz Roja), specializing in Shelter Managment and Mobile Kitchen. Truly engulfed in the medical field, she has had firefighting and paramedic careers with the City of Santa Clara, AMR and CDF (now CalFire). You may have known her as the smiling face at Quest Diagnostics in Jackson until she retired in August of 2018. Suzanne lives in Mace Meadow with her husband and cat, Stanley who keeps her company as she builds custom outdoor furniture in her wood shop.
  3. Mark Biernacki, Sergeant at Arms

    Mark Biernacki has been a long-time active resident of Amador District 3. Mark is an important liaison with CalTrans on issues regarding Highway 88.
  1. Sherry Curtis, Past Chairperson
    Managing Director
    Sherry Curtis is a California native and served the California State Federation of Republican Women as the State Issue Chairman for Local Government Tax and Revenue for two years. All Issue Chairs provide a valuable service by assisting the State Republican Women’s Legislative Advocate in reviewing and analyzing bills introduced by the State Legislature. Sherry was also president of the Calaveras County Republican Women Federated in 1997 and 1998. Later as consultant to the “Paul Gann Commission on Fraud, Waste and Abuse in Government” and other taxpayer groups she gained valuable working knowledge on Government Public Policies, Taxes, Private Property Rights and Economic Development and Redevelopment issues. She has also been a private consultant to many small businesses whose properties were threatened by eminent domain, due to the Redevelopment Process. She just termed out as chair of the Upcountry Community Council (UCC) in Amador County which is a forum for upcountry Amador residents, businesses, and organizations to identify and address common issues and concerns. The Council’s purpose is to educate the community concerning governmental affairs and to facilitate interactions with local, state, and federal governmental agencies and other entities in resolving community issues. Sherry is married and is the mother of 4 married sons, the grandmother of 16 grandchildren and two great grandchild. She enjoys camping, swimming, tennis and watching her grandchildren in their sports activities.
